Collaborations are instrumental for the success of our technology and business development. We have developed collaborations with two universities to research our first innovation and to evaluate its effectiveness in studies with potential users. Two significant studies have been completed to date.
- College of Engineering, Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania
The research study investigated the optimization of the wet-milling process in a disposable plastic container which is the core of the QuartetRx™ technology. This study was funded through a Ben Franklin Technologies Partners Technology Commercialization grant. Results were presented in a publication at the 2009 ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (Nov 13-19 2009, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA).
- School of Pharmacy, University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin
The study investigated the use of the QuartetRx™ technology for the compounding of formulations for administration via naso-gastric tubes in comparison to present methods.
